The Senior Bowl invited Wright to the annual game last month after the junior running back declared for the NFL Draft. The 2024 game is the first Reese’s Senior Bowl to invite juniors to the game as well as seniors.
Played annually in Mobile, Alabama, the Senior Bowl is one of the biggest events on the NFL Draft calendar. The game itself isn’t of massive consequence to NFL scouts but the week of practice is huge for players to show off their skills.

Wright is the second Tennessee player competing in the Senior Bowl, joining his backfield mate and former Tennessee quarterback Joe Milton III.
The junior running back became Tennessee’s first 1,000-yard rusher since 2015 during the 2023 season when he totaled 1,013 yards and four touchdowns.
Wright was incredible efficient in his breakout junior season, averaging 7.4 yards per carry and proving to be the best weapon in Tennessee’s offense.
The 2024 Senior Reese’s Bowl is at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday, Feb. 3 in Mobile, Alabama. The NFL Network is broadcasting the game.
