A pair of former Tennessee cornerbacks made big winning plays on the final day of the NFL regular season on Sunday afternoon.
Both Saints’ cornerback Alontae Taylor and Lions’ cornerback Cameron Sutton intercepted passes in the second half of wins for each team.
Taylor intercepted a terrible Desmond Ridder pass in the second half as the Saints earned a 48-17 win to conclude the 2023-24 season.

Sutton isn’t new to starting in the NFL but he is in a new spot after signing a new contract with the Detroit Lions this offseason. The former All-SEC selection has been a part of a special season in Detroit with the Lions winning the NFC North and earning the No. 3 seed.
He capped off the Lions’ 12-5 season by catching a game-sealing interception in Detroit’s win over Minnesota on Sunday afternoon.
