Tennessee football landed a commitment from class of 2024 defensive back Colin Brazzell on Friday morning. Brazzell is the younger brother of Tulane transfer receiver Chris Brazzell II who committed to Tennessee last month.

The younger Brazzell brother just finished his senior season at Midland Legacy High School where he played receiver and cornerback and earned First Team All-District honors.
A 6-foot-2, 170-pound prospect, Brazzell is unranked by 247sports. However, On3 industry rankings place Brazzell as a three-star recruit and the No. 1,506 player in the country. Ironically, Colin is a higher rated recruit than his older brother Chris was despite his electric redshirt freshman year at Tulane that propelled him to Tennessee.

It’s unclear whether Colin will be on scholarship or a preferred walk-on at Tennessee. The lanky corner shared that Tennessee offered him on Wednesday before committing Friday though that offer could have been a preferred walk-on spot.
According to On3, Purdue is the only power four school that offered Brazzell a scholarship though he took an unofficial visit to Colorado earlier this fall.
Chris Brazzell II committed to Tennessee over Colorado, Washington an Utah last month after a breakout redshirt freshman season at Tulane where h caught 44 passes for 711 yards and five touchdowns.
Tennessee’s 2024 recruiting class ranks No. 12 nationally according to the 247sports team rankings.
