Tennessee will wear white pants, orange jerseys, and white helmets. This is the first time this season that Tennessee has worn the same uniform combination in three consecutive games, as Tennessee donned that traditional uniforms against Georgia and Vanderbilt.
Monday’s Citrus Bowl against Vanderbilt will represent the sixth time that Tennessee has worn the orange-and-white classic combination this season.
Here’s a look at all of Tennessee’s uniform combinations throughout the 2023 football season:
Game 1 (vs Virginia)
- Classic Orange-and-White
Game 2 (vs Austin Peay)
- Smokey Grey 2.0

The Vols will be looking to pick up their second consecutive bowl victory in the Josh Heupel era. Under Heupel, Tennessee is 1-1 in bowl games, having lost the 2021 Music City Bowl against Purdue and winning the 2022 Orange Bowl against Clemson.
A win over Iowa would give Tennessee nine wins for the second straight year, as well. The last time Tennessee had back-to-back nine-win seasons was 2015 and 2016 under Butch Jones.
A win on Monday would also give Josh Heupel 20 wins in the past two seasons. The last time Tennessee had 20 wins in a two-year span was 2003-2004.
The Vols and Hawkeyes will kickoff at 1 p.m. ET on ABC this Monday in Orlando at Camping World Stadium.
