The No. 21 Tennessee Volunteers and No. 17 Iowa Hawkeyes are in Orlando and continuing preparation for the 2024 Cheez-It Citrus Bowl on New Year’s Day.

Both teams have been going through practice and taking part in activities around the city this week with the game coming up on Monday afternoon from Camping World Stadium. The Volunteers took a trip to Universal Studios on Wednesday and looked to have a good time based on the video that was posted to social media.

As the game gets closer, though, things are starting to get in motion. Both teams had a joint press conference on Friday morning with players and coordinators talking to the media.

Tennessee sent out linebacker Aaron Beasley and defensive coordinator Tim Banks from the defensive side of the ball, along with center Cooper Mays and offensive coordinator Joey Halzle from the offensive side of the ball.

Iowa had offensive coordinator Brian Ferentz and offensive lineman Logan Jones, along with defensive coordinator Phil Parker and senior linebacker Jay Higgins speak with the media during the press conference.

“Great bowl, great experience, absolutely top flight from this whole crew,” Halzle said to open the Vols’ press conference. “We’re honored to be here, proud to be a part of it. Looking forward to going and playing in a great game on the first.”
