No. 21 Tennessee Football took to the practice field on Thursday as the Vols continue to prepare for Monday’s Cheez-It Citrus Bowl against the No. 17 Iowa Hawkeyes.
Tennessee is using the UCF practice facility to handle business this week as the Citrus Bowl will be played in Orlando’s Camping World Stadium on New Year’s Day.
The Vols have momentarily been the talk of the college football world this week as many await the starting debut of quarterback Nico Iamaleava with veteran quarterback Joe Milton III opting out to continue his NFL Draft preparation and work. Social media has been buzzing with excitement for the first true glimpse of the Vols’ freshman quarterback against the Hawkeyes.
While practice was closed to the media in Orlando, Tennessee did provide practice highlights to get a little bit of a look into what the Vols’ practice was like on Thursday. Tennessee also had four players speak with the media after practice including QB Nico Iamaleava, RB Dylan Sampson, DL Bryson Eason, and S Jaylen McCollough.
