NFL Player Props for Lamar Jackson

Lamar Jackson is having a tremendous season. On the year, he has completed 66.3% of his pass attempts for 3,105 yards and 17 touchdowns. Like usual, he has also made plays with his legs, rushing for 741 yards and five touchdowns on 135 carries. But nothing will come easy in this one, as Jackson and the Ravens face one of the best defenses in the NFL.

Lamar Jackson Over 219.5 passing yards (-115 on DraftKings)

If the Ravens are to be successful against the 49ers, they’ll have to attack San Francisco through the air. The 49ers are the third-best team in the league against the rush, only surrendering 89 rushing yards per contest. However, their passing defense isn’t as stout. They allow 220 yards through the air per contest, which is 15th in the league. In two of their last three games, they allowed nearly 300 yards passing to Drew Lock and Jalen Hurts, neither of whom are known for lighting it up through the air.

The Ravens own the league’s best rushing offense, and Lamar Jackson is a big part of that. However, San Franscico does a great job stifling the run game, and mobile QBs haven’t racked up many yards against the 49ers this season. Look for an influx in passing attempts from Jackson to help keep the chains moving against one of the premiere rushing defenses in the league.

Lamar Jackson Anytime TD Scorer (+160 on Caesars)

Jackson has faced two top-10 rushing defenses this season in the Detroit Lions and the Cleveland Browns (twice). In two of those three games, he has registered at least one rushing touchdown.

The Ravens have done a good job getting their tight ends involved across the middle of the field. That tends to draw the attention of the spy most teams appoint to monitor Jackson. Once teams are focused elsewhere, Jackson finds opportunistic moments to strike with his legs.

Look for him to find the end zone on an off-script scramble in short yardage scoring position.

Lamar Jackson Under 19.5 completions (-130 on FanDuel)

Jackson is likely to have an influx of passing attempts against the 49ers. However, despite their passing defense having vulnerabilities, they are also one of the best teams at generating pressure.

San Francisco is seventh in the league in sacks, registering 43 on the season. So far this season, Jackson has played against four teams that are top-10 in sacks (five games). He topped his total for completions in two of those games, but both times they went into overtime. Without overtime, he is well below 20 completions against teams that generate pressure, which makes shortening him on this line a good wager to consider.
