In addition, Golden state’s current record of 13-14 is definitely cause for concern.
If Golden State can stifle Nikola Jokic, this team can make a run in a competitive Western Conference. The Warriors beat the Celtics just a few days go, so they should be playing with come confidence in this one.
In addition to Jokic, Denver’s Jamal Murray gives this team all they need to win. In a win against the Raptors, this dynamic duo combined for 51 points as Jokic scored 31 and Murray added 20.

Boston Celtics vs. Los Angeles Lakers, 5 p.m. ET (ABC)
Jayson Tatum is out of action due to an ankle sprain, and the Celtics have not missed a beat. Boston is on top of the Eastern Conference and Jaylen Brown, new additions Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday are holding it down in Tatum’s absence.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Miami Heat, 8 p.m. ET (ESPN)
Jimmy Butler tends to find a different gear in big games, and the Heat are looking for a big performance from their superstar player on Christmas Day. The 76ers are in town, and oddsmakers are expecting a tight game. Miami is just a 1.5-point favorite at home.
The 76ers won six games in a row earlier this month, and they are capable of catching fire at any moment. Currently the No. 3 team in the East, Philadelphia is looking for a big road win on Christmas Day.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Phoenix Suns, 10:30 p.m. ET (ESPN)
The Suns gave up a lot to land Kevin Durant in the offseason, starting with a loss of depth on the bench to make room for the luxury tax. While Durant is having his best three point shooting year in his lengthy career, it has not been enough to lift Phoenix out of the No. 10 spot in the West. Phoenix is also dealing with some injuries, potentially making this a tough spot against Dallas.
Luka Doncic has been a superstar for several seasons, but this year he is looking to take his team to a title. The Mavericks are currently the No. 6 team in the West, and a win against Phoenix at home on Christmas Day could spring them on a run to close out the calendar year.
