NFL Week 16 is here, and the Tennessee Titans are hosting the Seattle Seahawks in a cross-conference matchup on Sunday, Dec. 24. With the 5-9 Titans already eliminated from the playoffs, the stakes are much higher for the 7-7 Seahawks, who are still in the Wild Card hunt.
Kick-off is set for 1 p.m. ET at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. You can watch the game on CBS.

Seahawks vs. Titans Betting Odds
Oddsmakers are favoring the visiting Seahawks in this one, but not by much. Seattle is a slight 2.5-point favorite on most sports betting platforms. When it comes to the moneyline, Seattle has odds of -135 while Tennessee has odds of +114. The total, or over/under, is listed at 41.5.
Seahawks vs. Titans Preview
Seattle is vying for a Wild Card spot in a very tight NFC playoff battle. Going into this week, the Seahawks are tied with the LA Rams, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Minnesota Vikings. If the playoffs started today, they’d be shut out thanks to a tiebreak with the Rams based on head-to-head win percentage.
On the other side, the Titans may already be shifting their focus to the draft and next season. But there’s still an element of pride, especially after a devastating 19-16 loss to Houston this past week.
Here’s what to know about each team going into Sunday’s game.
Seahawks Showed a Spark – Can They Keep It Alive?
Drew Lock led the Seahawks to a stunning victory over the defending NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles in Week 15 of “Monday Night Football.” The win broke a four-game losing streak and lifted Seattle back into the NFC playoff conversation.
But can they keep it up? Despite Seattle’s massive win, it’s worth considering that that the Eagles were not at full strength with a few key players out and Jalen Hurts battling an illness. Philly now has three losses in a row.
At the same time, the Seahawks showed they could make the most of it. Locks was making only his second start after Geno Smith went down with an injury. Lock has thrown for a solid 269 and 208 yards in each of his starts. On Monday, DK Metcalf had three catches in their game-winning drive, culminating in a touchdown catch by Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
If Seattle wants to keep its playoff hopes alive, they need this win on the road. The San Francisco 49ers have already clinched the NFC West, so Seattle has to contend for one of the three Wild Card spots. It’s a tight field that won’t allow for any mistakes.
Titans are Looking Hobbled Right Now
The Titans are officially eliminated from the playoffs in the AFC picture, thanks to their Week 15 loss to AFC South rivals the Houston Texans (8-6). The defeat was the heartbreaking kind, going to overtime and the Texans winning by just three points.
The other heartbreaker? QB Will Levis sustained an ankle injury after being sacked seven times. In addition, Derrick Henry hit a shockingly low total of 10 rushing yards on 16 carries. As of this writing, Levis is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against Seattle, while Geno Smith might be back for the Seahawks.
It’s hard to say if the Titans team that shows up on Sunday is even motivated to put up a big fight.
Seahawks vs. Titans Prediction: Seattle’s Playoff Hopes Stay Alive
The Seahawks got a much needed win on prime time Monday Night Football last week, and they are looking to keep the momentum rolling this week. This is an inspired team right now, and they have a lot more to play for than the Titans. Levis is a big question mark to play, and even if he does play, it’s not like he has been setting the world on fire. Since throwing four touchdowns and no interceptions in his season debut in Week 8, Levis has thrown just four touchdowns to go along with four interceptions in seven games.
Pick: Seahawks -2.5.
