The early signing period is off and running. Tennessee has gotten to work early on Wednesday morning and even added Oregon State transfer corner Jermod McCoy to start the day.
In honor of National Signing Day, Tennessee football released a new hype video to honor the newest Vols. Titled “Every story has a beginning” the video highlights a number of legendary Vols in the NFL and then old clips of them announcing their commitment to Tennessee including Peyton Manning, Eric Berry and Trey Smith.
The video also included highlights and signing day moments from a number of Josh Heupel era Vols including Jalin Hyatt, Byron Young and Darnell Wright.

Tennessee football enters the early signing period with 21 total commitments and the nation’s No. 13 recruiting class according to the 247sports team rankings.
Josh Heupel’s third complete signing class includes includes two five-stars, 11 four-stars and nine three-stars. The Vols’ recruiting class contains one quarterback, one running back, two receivers, one tight end, five offensive linemen, five defensive linemen, two linebackers, three defensive backs and one recruit classified as an “athlete”.
