The early signing date is one day away. Recruits across the country will sign their letter of intents mostly on Wednesday but continuing on until Friday.

The Vols’ 2024 recruiting class currently contains 20 commitments after junior college defensive lineman Jamal Wallace committed to Josh Heupel and his staff on Sunday afternoon. Wallace was Tennessee’s first commit since August when five-star edge rusher Jordan Ross committed to the Vols.

With Wallace in the fold, Tennessee has 19 prep commitments and one junior college transfer. They include two five-stars, 11 four-stars and seven three-stars. The Vols’ recruiting class contains one quarterback, one running back, two receivers, one tight end, five offensive linemen, five defensive linemen, two linebackers, three defensive backs and one recruit classified as an “athlete”.

Barring a surprise, Tennessee’s recruiting class will stay in its current form with no additions or losses by the end of the early signing period. So where does the Vols’ recruiting class rank on the eve of the early signing period? Check it out here.

* Note: Oklahoma and Texas are included in the SEC rankings (both rank ahead of Tennessee on all three sites)
