The San Mateo, California native is unranked according to the 247sports composite rankings but is a three-star recruit from every recruiting publication besides ESPN. Harrison ranks as the No. 1,190 player and 67 tight end nationally according to the On3 consensus rankings.

Harrison turned in a strong senior season at Junipero Serra High School where he caught 32 passes for 601 yards and eight touchdowns.
