Former Tennessee Safety Jack Luttrell Announces Transfer Destination

Former Tennessee football safety Jack Luttrell has announced his commitment to the University of Arizona. Luttrell made the news official on Monday afternoon.

Luttrell entered the transfer portal on December 4 after just one season on Rocky Top in which he did not log a stat.

Lutrell will be a redshirt freshman in his first season as a Wildcat with four seasons of eligibility remaining.

The Gainesville, Georgia, native was one of the first to commit to Tennessee in the 2023 recruiting class. Also known as ‘White Lightning,’ Luttrell now becomes the only member of Tennessee’s 2023 recruiting class to leave after just one season.

Luttrell is now the sixth outgoing Tennessee football transfer to commit to his new school. The full list is below.

DE Tyler Baron –> Ole Miss

CB Warren Burrell –> Georgia Tech

OL Mo Clipper Jr. –> Charlotte

S Jack Luttrell –> Arizona

DB Tamarion McDonald –> Ole Miss

DB Doneiko Slaughter –> Arkansas

OL Addison Nichols, OL Connor Meadows, CB Brandon Turnage, and CB De’Shawn Rucker are the only remaining outgoing transfers that are yet to commit elsewhere.
