Former Tennessee football offensive lineman Mo Clipper Jr. has announced he is transferring to the Charlotte 49ers, per an announcement via his X account on Monday night.

Clipper Jr. announced his intent to enter the portal on December 1 and officially did so when the portal opened on December 4. The former Class of 2022 commit is the second outgoing Vol transfer to commit to his new home, as cornerback Warren Burrell committed to Georgia Tech on Sunday.

Clipper Jr. spent two seasons as a reserve interior offensive lineman on Rocky Top and was a four-star commit in the 2022 class according to ESPN. The Alpharetta, Georgia, native saw action in two games as a true freshman in 2022 and saw the field just once this past season as a redshirt-freshman.
The 6-foot-5, 308-pounder is one of two Tennessee offensive linemen to enter the portal so far, as Addison Nichols, who was also a 2022 four-star commit.
Clipper Jr. has three seasons of eligibility remaining.
