Milton had a shaky super senior season as Tennessee’s starting quarterback. After starting four games in his first two seasons at Tennessee, Milton started all 12 regular season games and completed 229-of-54 passes for 2,813 yards, 20 touchdowns and five interceptions.
With Milton leading the Vols offense, Tennessee ranked seventh in the SEC with 31.5 points per game and its passing offense ranked eighth in the SEC with 250.9 yards per game.

Josh Heupel’s third Tennessee team posted an 8-4 (4-4 SEC) record including wins over Texas A&M and Kentucky and losses to rivals Florida, Alabama and Georgia and a lopsided loss at Missouri.
The Vols face Big 10 foe Iowa in the Cheez-Its Citrus Bowl at 1 p.m. ET on New Years Day in Orlando. Milton hasn’t announced any intentions to opt out of the bowl game but hasn’t made any public comments saying he will play in his final collegiate game.
The Senior Bowl has hosted many Vols over the past couple of seasons, including receivers Velus Jones Jr. and Joshua Palmer, offensive lineman Cade Mays, defensive end Byron Young, offensive tackle Darnell Wright and others.
The 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl is on Saturday, Feb. 3 at 1 p.m. ET in Mobile, Alabama. The week of practices leading up to the game are even more important than the game itself to the players draft hopes.
