Tennessee football commit Boo Carter is having quite the week.
Just a day after Carter won the Tennessee Class 6A Mr. Football Award, the Army All-American Bowl invited Carter to play in the 2024 game.

Carter ranks as a four-star recruit and the No. 146 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. The Bradley Central standout also ranks as the No. 2 player in the state of Tennessee and the No. 7 athlete nationally.

The blue-chip recruit was one of Tennessee football’s top recruiting targets from the jump of the 2024 recruiting cycle. Carter committed to the Vols in June over a top group which included Colorado, Michigan, Ohio State and Oregon.
Carter turned in a dominant senior high school season totaling 1,795 all purpose yards and 27 total touchdowns during his senior season while making plays as a returner, running back and predominately receiver. The blue-chip athlete also turned heads on the defensive side of the ball where he totaled 102 tackles and two interceptions.
Carter helped lead Bradley Central High School to one of its best seasons in school history, posting a 13-1 record and a run to the TSSAA 6A-Semifinals. At Bradley Central, Carter was teammates with fellow Tennessee commit Marcus Goree Jr.
