Tennessee cornerback Brandon Turnage entered the transfer portal on Monday morning, On3 first reported. The transfer portal officially opened on Monday and Turnage joined fellow corner Warren Burrell in deciding to enter the portal. Burrell previously announced his intention to transfer last week.
Turnage is a second time transfer. The Oxford, Mississippi native went to Alabama out of high school and spent two seasons in Tuscaloosa before entering the transfer portal and coming to Tennessee.
The 6-foot-1 cornerback was never a full season starting cornerback at Tennessee but earned plenty of playing time in his three seasons in Knoxville as the Vols dealt with a multitude of injuries in their defensive backfield.
