The college football early signing period is three weeks away as coaches across the country are looking to put the final touches on their recruiting class in December before the February signing date.
Tennessee’s recruiting class currently contains 20 commits including two five-stars, 12 four-stars and six three-stars. The Vols recruiting class contains one quarterback, one running back, two receivers, one tight end, five offensive linemen, four defensive linemen, two linebackers, three defensive backs and one recruit classified as an “athlete”.
It’s been a quiet stretch of recruiting for Tennessee during the season with the Vols landing their last class of 2024 commit in mid August. But as the early signing period approaches, Tennessee is pursuing a number of targets.
Five-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton is the biggest fish left in the pond for Tennessee but they have an number of other top targets including four-star corner Cai Bates and three-star tight end Blair Angulo.
But before those players make their final decisions, where does Tennessee’s recruiting class rank? The Vols are right outside the top 10 according to all three major recruiting publications. Take a look at where Tennessee’s class ranks in nationally and in the SEC here.
* Note: Oklahoma and Texas are included in the SEC rankings (both rank ahead of Tennessee on all three sites)
