In Tennessee football’s win over Vanderbilt, the Vols set three milestones on the offensive side of the ball in what was a big day for Joey Halzle’s unit. Tennessee scored 48 points compared to Vanderbilt’s 24, doubling up their in-state rival.

The day was even bigger for Jaylen Wright, Joe Milton III and the tight end group as they all set milestones in the win.

Watch the video below for a further breakdown of the milestones in the latest High & Tight presented by Gambuzza’s Barbershop.

The three milestones are as follows:

  1. Jaylen Wright reaches 1,000 yards, becomes first Tennessee RB to do so since Jalen Hurd in 2015 and 18th back to do it at Tennessee. A back has rushed for 1k 19 times at Tennessee, though, as Johnnie James did it twice in the 1980s.
  2. Joe Milton III accounted for six touchdowns, the most for a Tennessee quarterback in a single game since Jonathan Crompton had six vs. Memhpis on November 7, 2009.
  3. The Tennessee tight end group of McCallan Casltes and Jacob Warren combined for eight touchdowns this season, the most from a tight end group at Tennessee since the 2007 TE room scored nine times.
