Eligibility is no longer as simple as it used to be in college football. That’s been the case ever since the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2020 season not counting against any player.
So what does that mean for Tennessee entering the offseason? The Vols had 38 seniors on their roster this season and over half of them still have eligibility remaining. Seven of those players didn’t go through Senior Day festivities prior to the Vanderbilt game though five juniors did.
Just because someone went through Senior Day doesn’t mean they can’t come back and just because someone didn’t participate in Senior Day doesn’t mean they can’t move on.
But this is where things stand as to who still has eligibility and who does not amongst the Vols’ massive senior class.
