Tennessee football is down a number of players in its two-deep for Saturday afternoon’s showdown with No. 1 Georgia at Neyland Stadium. Wesley Walker, Dont’e Thornton, Keenan Pili, Andre Karic and Arion Carter are all officially out. Starting offensive tackles John Campbell Jr. and Gerald Mincey will not start but aren’t officially inactive.
Walker has started all 10 games at safety this season beside senior Jaylen McCollough. With Walker out, Jourdan Thomas and Andre Turrentine will step up into bigger roles.
Gerald Mincey is Tennessee’s starting right tackle and John Campbell Jr. is Tennessee’s starting left tackle. Mincey has been in-and-out of the lineup with injuries this season and Campbell suffered an injury last week against Missouri which sidelined him for the rest of the game.
Inside Neyland Stadium, Jeremiah Crawford was announced as the starting left tackle and Dayne Davis was announced as the starting right tackle.

Dont’e Thornton suffered a regular season ending lower body injury last week against Missouri on the same play he recorded his first Tennessee touchdown. With Thornton out, second-year receivers Chas Nimrod and Kaleb Webb will step into larger roles.
Keenan Pili has been out since suffering an upper body injury in Tennessee’s season opening win over Virginia. Freshman linebacker Arion Carter is also sidelined for the rest of the season with an injury he suffered in recent weeks.
Kickoff between Tennessee and Georgia at Neyland Stadium is at 3:39 p.m. ET. Brad Nesler, Gary Danielson and Jenny Dell are on the call for Tennessee’s final ever SEC on CBS appearance.
