Winston is one of Tennessee’s biggest tight end targets in its 2025 recruiting class. The Calhoun, Georgia native ranks as the No. 241 player in his class according to the 247sports composite rankings. Winston also ranks as the No. 11 tight end and No. 26 player in the state of Georgia in his class.
The Vols made Winston’s top six back in August. Tennessee joined Central Florida, Cincinnati, North Carolina, Ohio State and Southern Cal in Winston’s top group.

It hasn’t been an overly busy fall for Winston on the recruiting trail but he has taken a number of visits. The blue-chip recruit visited Tennessee for the Texas A&M game last month and has also seen games at Ohio State and Cincinnati.
Winston has taken four visits to Ohio State, two visits to Cincinnati and one visit to a number of schools. This weekend’s trip to Knoxville will be the fourth of Winston’s recruitment.
Tennessee’s 2025 recruiting class currently contains three commits but has a heavy Peach State flare. All three commits are from the Atlanta suburbs just like Winston is.
The Vols’ three-commit 2025 recruiting class ranks No. 14 nationally according to the 247sports team rankings with the trio all ranking as three-star recruits.
