Tennessee fifth-year senior Josiah-Jordan James reached a major scoring milestone during Tennessee’s 82-61 win over Wofford on Tuesday night in Knoxville.
James became the 55th member of Tennessee’s 1,000 career points club with an eight-point performance over the Terriers in front of the home crowd.
The 6-foot-7, 220-pound guard entered the game with 994 career points in 110 games played for Tennessee. James now has 1,002 career points in 111 games for the Big Orange.
James ended the game on Tuesday with eight points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

The Charleston, South Carolina native came to Tennessee as a freshman during the 2019-2020 season after being ranked as a Top 20 national product on the recruiting trail. James has played in 24 or more games in each of his four seasons at Tennessee and made the announcement to return for his fifth year on May 31, 2023. The versatile guard has now started 90 of his 111 games at Tennessee.

James has been named to the 2022 SEC All-Tournament Team, was on the 2022 College Insider Defensive All-America team, and earned the 2021 Wade Houston Leadership Award during his time on Rocky Top.
The Tennessee senior has been scoring at a strong pace to start the 2023 season. James scored 12 points in Tennessee’s opener against Tennessee Tech and dropped 14 on the road against Wisconsin during the second game of the season.
