How Tennessee’s Outgoing Transfers Fared in Week 11

Each week, we take a look at how Tennessee’s outgoing transfers from the 2023 offseason fared in their new homes.

Let’s take a look at how the former Vols performed in Week 11 of the college football season.

WR Jimmy Calloway –Louisville

Calloway caught two passes for 27 yards in Louisville’s narrow 31-24 win over Virginia, including a 23-yard reception.

TE Miles Campbell – NC Central

Did not record a stat in NC Central’s 50-20 loss to Howard on the road.

WR Jimmy Holiday – Western Kentucky

Holiday went catch-less in Western Kentucky’s 38-29 home loss to New Mexico State.

QB Tayven Jackson – Indiana

Did not play for the fourth straight week as Brendan Sorsby started at QB for the Hoosiers in their 48-45 thrilling overtime loss to Illinois.

Jackson will likely remain on the bench moving forward considering Sorsby has played well for three weeks in a row and just led an offense to a season-high 45 points.

WR Nigel Lanier – Grambling State

Did not log a stat in Grambling State’s 43-14 win over Arkansas Pine-Bluff on the road.

DL Amari McNeill – Colorado

Had another solid game as a starting defensive lineman for the Buffs, recording five tackles, all solo, and a TFL in Colorado’s 34-31 home loss to Arizona.

WR Walker Merrill  – Wake Forest

Went catch-less in Wake Forest’s 26-6 loss to NC State. Merrill still has no catches this year.

DB Cameron Miller – Memphis

Did not record a stat in Memphis’ high-scoring 44-38 overtime road win over Charlotte.

LB Juwan Mitchell – Colorado

After getting back on the field last week, Mitchell was once again in Colorado’s game against Arizona this past weekend for unknown reasons and was not seen with the team.

Mitchell missed a good chunk of the season for disciplinary reasons before returning last week.

DL Jordan Phillips – Maryland

Recorded two tackles, both solo, and one TFL in Maryland’s narrow 13-10 road win over Nebraska.

DL Da’Jon Terry – Oklahoma

Tallied two tackles in Oklahoma’s 59-20 blowout win over West Virginia.

RB Justin Williams-Thomas – Cal

Logged no carries but caught one pass for seven yards in Cal’s 42-39 win over Washington State at home.

RB Len’Neth Whitehead – Georgia

Did not play in Georgia’s 52-17 win over Ole Miss. Whitehead is yet to be utilized by the Bulldogs this season.
