Tennessee Opens As Home Underdogs Against Georgia

Tennessee football opens as nine-point underdogs against Georgia according to Action Sports. The line varies between Georgia being eight and 10.5-point favorite with nine points being the most popular number.

The over/under is set at 62.5.

Tennessee is 5-4 against the spread this season. Georgia is just 2-7 against the spread this season as the two-time defending national champions have been massive favorites frequently all year. The Bulldogs are 2-5 against the spread in SEC games this season. The over has hit in five Georgia games this season while the under has hit four times in Georgia games.

Tennessee enters the SEC East rivalry matchup coming off its worst loss of the Josh Heupel era. Missouri dominated the Vols 36-7 at Faurot Field in Columbia on Saturday afternoon. The Vols fell to 7-2 (3-3 SEC) with the loss.

Georgia remained unbeaten on the season on Saturday night, dominating Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss 52-17 at Sanford Stadium in Athens. The Bulldogs (9-0, 7-0 SEC) clinched the SEC East for the third straight season on Saturday and can break the SEC record for longest ever winning streak against Tennessee.
