Tennessee had two touchdowns that went for more than 50 yards in the first quarter against UConn on Saturday in Knoxville.
It didn’t take long, either.
On the second play from scrimmage with Tennessee on offense, Jaylen Wright broke through the middle of the Huskies’ defense and exploded for 82 yards in a footrace to the endzone. The Vols were on the board in the blink of an eye to start the game as Wright continued his hot streak of running the football this season.

More from RTI: Words Exchanged As UConn Tries To Warm Up On Tennessee’s Side Of Field
After finding success on the ground in their first drive, Tennessee made it happen through the air later in the quarter.
Joe Milton dropped back and fired a deep pass to Ramel Keyton, who was so wide open that he was practically in a different time zone down the field. No one was remotely close to Keyton as he caught the ball and jogged – yes, jogged – into the endzone. Not a single UConn defender was even in the area.

The second quarter didn’t slow down either.
After Tennessee found 82-yard and 60-yard touchdowns in the first quarter, the Vols came back in the second quarter and found another 82-yard touchdown score as Joe Milton completed a pass to Squirrel White across the middle of the field. White took it to the house up the sideline.
Squirrel White. 82 yards.
