The Tennessee Volunteers will travel north to Lexington this Saturday for a matchup against the Kentucky Wildcats at Kroger Field.
History stands on the side of Tennessee in this game. The Vols have dominated Kentucky to the tune of 35-3 since 1985 including two straight wins in Lexington and an undefeated record against the ‘Cats in the Josh Heupel era. Tennessee will need that history on their side this Saturday as the Vols look to rebound from a crushing second-half collapse against Alabama last weekend in Tuscaloosa.
The Wildcats, though, are also looking for a win. Kentucky dropped two straight SEC games against Georgia and Missouri prior to their open date last weekend.
Both Tennessee and Kentucky will enter the game with strong rushing attacks and will try to force the opposing offense to be as one-dimensional as possible.
