Tennessee guard/forward Josiah-Jordan James is entering his fifth season on Rocky Top after helping lead the Volunteers to a Sweet 16 appearance last season.
James tested the NBA waters during the offseason but ultimately decided that it was best to return to Knoxville for another year under Rick Barnes and in the Tennessee program.
The Charleston, South Carolina native met with the media in Knoxville on Wednesday to preview the Vols’ upcoming exhibition game against Top 5-ranked Michigan State this Sunday in East Lansing. James spoke about what his new teammates bring to the table, how much better Tennessee can be offensively this year, playing on the road this weekend, and much more.
No. 4 Michigan State will host No. 9 Tennessee at 3:30 p.m. ET on Sunday.
