The Vols have now played two afternoon home game, an evening home game and a night home game. Away from Neyland Stadium, Tennessee played a neutral site game at noon, a road game at night and face Alabama in the afternoon this week.
Tennessee is looking for its third straight win over Kentucky as head coach Josh Heupel look to stay unbeaten against the Wildcats in his coaching career. Heupel earned his first ranked win as Tennessee’s head coach in 2021 when the Vols knocked off Kentucky 45-42 in Lexington. Tennessee dominated the Wildcats in Knoxville a season ago, earning a 44-6 blowout victory.

The Vols rank No. 17 in the AP Poll two weeks ahead of the matchup. Tennessee is 5-1 (2-1 SEC) and overcame an early season loss at Florida by earning home SEC wins over South Carolina and Texas A&M.
Heupel’s third Tennessee team is entering a pivotal and challenging game this week before heading to Lexington. The Vols face No. 11 Alabama in Tuscaloosa as they look for their first win at Bryant-Denny Stadium since 2003.
