MacIntyre has long been one of Tennessee football and Josh Heupel’s top quarterback targets in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
The Brentwood, Tennessee native ranks as a five-star recruit and the No. 13 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. MacIntyre also ranks as the No. 2 quarterback in his class and the top player in the state of Tennessee.

MacIntyre is a standout at Nashville area power Brentwood Academy. It’s been a disappointing season to date for the Eagles who are out to a 1-7 start to the season including four losses by one score. Brentwood Academy lost a 47-42 shootout at Knoxville Catholic last weekend.
The blue-chip recruit has visited every school in his top group besides Auburn, Oregon and UCLA. But MacIntyre has visited Alabama, LSU and Tennessee more than any other schools. The instate prospect has visited Alabama five times and Tennessee and LSU four times.
Florida International is the lone non power five team in the five-star’s top group. MacIntyre’s uncle — Mike MacIntyre — is the head coach at FIU.
The Vols’ 2025 recruiting class currently contains just one commit: Shamar Arnoux Jr. Arnoux commitment is good to give Tennessee the No. 34 recruiting class according to the 247sports team rankings.
One Response
Hope Tennessee gets better. Florida game was imbarasing. Coach is doing a great job of recruiting.
