Eleven teams from the Southeastern Conference are in action this weekend with a trio of teams facing their open date.

No. 22 Tennessee, South Carolina, and Auburn will all be out of action this weekend as the SEC presents five conference matchups and one non-conference game.

Aside from the SEC, though, there are several games that are worth watching from around the college football landscape.

Nineteen teams from the AP Top 25 are set for action this weekend with four Top 25 vs Top 25 head-to-head showdowns.

The big one on the slate is the Red River Rivalry in the Cotton Bowl between No. 12 Oklahoma and No. 3 Texas. Both Top 15-ranked teams will be looking to end their rival’s undefeated start to the season as Dillon Gabriel (former Josh Heupel quarterback at UCF) and Quinn Ewers lead their offenses onto the gorgeous 50-50 split field.

Interestingly enough, No. 10 Notre Dame is facing their third-straight Top 25 opponent this weekend with No. 25 Louisville after losing to Ohio State in heartbreaking fashion and defeating Duke on the road last weekend.

The SEC rounds out the final two Top 25 clashes this weekend. No. 21 Missouri will host No. 23 LSU in Columbia this weekend as the (Missouri) Tigers look to continue their undefeated start while the (LSU) Tigers look to desperately avoid their third loss in the first six weeks.

The Tiger Bowl will take place at noon while No. 1 Georgia is set to host No. 20 Kentucky at 7:00 p.m. ET in ESPN’s night game.

Other intriguing games include No. 11 Alabama at Texas A&M (ALA -2) and No. 13 Washington State at UCLA (UCLA -3).
