Tennessee football’s week seven matchup against Texas A&M kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET at Neyland Stadium. CBS is broadcasting the critical SEC matchup.

Tennessee has now played an evening and night game in addition to two afternoon games at Neyland Stadium this season.

The Vols are 4-1 entering this week’s well-timed open date. Tennessee earned its first SEC win of the season on Saturday when it knocked off South Carolina 41-20 at Neyland Stadium. The Vols’ lone loss of the young season came two weeks prior when they lost their SEC opener at Florida.

Texas A&M is in the midst of a bounce-back season after an extremely underwhelming 2022 season. The Aggies have found some offensive rhythm under first-year offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino and it has shown in their 4-1 start to the season.

Jimbo Fisher’s sixth Texas A&M team lost its first test of the season at Miami but has bounced back with SEC wins over both Auburn and Arkansas.

However, the Aggies season hasn’t been without adversity either. Starting quarterback Conner Weigman suffered a season-ending injury against Auburn forcing former LSU transfer Max Johnson into the starting quarterback spot.

While Tennessee is facing Texas A&M coming off its open date, the Aggies travel to Knoxville for their fourth SEC game in as many weeks and after hosting Alabama at Kyle Field. The Aggies are in the heat of a SEC West divisional race while Tennessee is looking to keep its SEC East aspirations alive with a win over Texas A&M.

Other top SEC games in week seven include Florida at South Carolina, Missouri at Kentucky, Auburn at LSU, and Arkansas at Alabama.
