Ben Hill Griffin Stadium holds a capacity of 88,548 and has been a house of horrors for Tennessee over the last two decades. The Vols are looking to end a nine-game losing streak in Gainesville dating back to 2003.
Tennessee players and head coach Josh Heupel acknowledged the road losing streak in the series while minimizing its importance over the course of the week.

“Certainly they’re aware of that streak,” Tennessee coach Josh Heupel said of his team Wednesday. “But for us, it’s really about our preparation and our practice and finishing the week out the right way to go down there and play our best football.”
Heupel and the Vols ended a five-year losing streak in the series last season when they knocked off Florida 38-33 inside Neyland Stadium. Tennessee trying to end another streak was the theme of the Vols’ Florida hype video this season.
Despite its struggles in Gainesville, Tennessee is 5.5-point favorites over Florida in its SEC opener according to the Caesars Sportsbook.
Kickoff is at 7 p.m. ET at a sold out Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Holly Rowe are on the call for ESPN.
