Tennessee football commit Boo Carter is no stranger to making opposing defenders look silly when he has the ball in his hands.
And the explosive Bradley Central athlete did it again on Friday night.
In a big game against Maryville, the Tennessee commit took a screen 61 yards to the house, weaving through the Rebels’ defense to reach the end zone.

Carter’s ability to rack up yards after the catch has been shown multiple times since he committed to Tennessee.
Last month, Carter tweeted out a video of him making an insane run after the catch in a preseason scrimmage.

Carter figures to be a defensive back for the Vols when he gets on campus, as that was a b But that doesn’t mean Carter couldn’t play offense at a high level, too. Just this high school season, Carter has shown multiple times he has the ability to be dangerous on offense.
Tennessee received big news when Carter committed to the Vols in mid-June over Michigan and others. Carter was a big step for Heupel’s ability to recruit high-end in-state talent as Tennessee continues to improve in that department.
Currently, the 5-foot-10, 184-pound Carter ranks as the 226th best player in the Class of 2024 and fourth best in the state according to 247 sports’ composite rankings.
