Tennessee football is coming off its best bowl appearance in a decade and a half, defeating Clemson in the Orange Bowl last December.
As the Vols accepted the Orange Bowl trophy after the game head coach Josh Heupel proclaimed, “the best for Tennessee is yet to come.”
But is it this year? That’s what Heupel, Joe Milton III and Tennessee are looking to figure out this year. Replacing Hendon Hooker, Darnell Wright and Jalin Hyatt isn’t going to be easy. But the Vols believe they have the talent and pieces for another big year.
So what bowl game could Tennessee find themselves in this season? A number of national media outlets are making their preseason bowl projections this week ahead of the week zero slate of games and there’s a popular landing spot for Tennessee.
