Tennessee was ready to hit the practice field on Friday morning after a scrimmage in Neyland Stadium on Wednesday and an off day on Thursday. The Vols wrapped up practice No. 13 on Friday morning en route to the start of the season on September 2 against Virginia in Nashville’s Nissan Stadium.
After a previous week filled with rain and storms, the weather was just right on Friday morning. The sound of ‘Rocky Top’ could even be heard throughout the streets on campus as the Pride of the Southland Marching Band was working on their musical routines and the Vol Walk under the sun.
Tennessee’s quarterbacks and received once again worked on the long ball in front of the media on Friday morning. The defense, meanwhile, worked with their individual position groups on the other side of the field.
