Tennessee has officially announced four home sellouts for the upcoming 2023 season with limited tickets remaining for the available games.
According to the Tennessee press release, contests against UT-San Antonio, South Carolina, Texas A&M, and Georgia have all been sold out. Additionally, the Vols’ remaining three home games against Austin Peay, UConn, and Vanderbilt only have a limited number of tickets available.
Tennessee sold out all of their home games during the 2022 season except for the Thursday night season-opener against Ball State. Once football returned to Saturday, though, the Tennessee fans in Knoxville and from all around didn’t leave a seat open.
With an average number of 100,532 spectators per game last season, Tennessee landed with the fifth-highest average home attendance this past season according to FOX College Football.
In May, Tennessee announced that the Volunteers’ football department had sold out of season tickets for the 2023 season in Knoxville. The total amount of season tickets that were sold ended at 70,500, including over 9,000 new season tickets for the 2023 season.
