With Gospel music blaring from the speakers on a nice Knoxville morning, Tennessee hit the practice field early on Sunday for another practice coming out of Thursday’s scrimmage in Neyland Stadium.
The Vols are on the road to the season opener which will take place on Sept. 2 against Virginia in Nashville’s Nissan Stadium.
Like Saturday, there is no post-practice media availability for the Vols on Sunday, meaning no opportunities to talk with the players and coaches. That will get cranked back up starting on Tuesday as the Vols begin a new week ahead.
While aspects of the beginning of the practice went as normal, there were some shifts to the routine with the season drawing closer and closer. For more on Tennessee’s Sunday morning practice in Knoxville, check out Rocky Top Insider’s practice observations by clicking here.
