The Tennessee football team returned to the field on Friday morning after morning rain pushed them inside on Thursday.
Energy was high as the Vols were back under the sun but the biggest difference on day three was the shells. For the first time since the start of fall camp on Wednesday, Tennessee added shoulder pads to their attire as they ramp up to full pads at some point soon.
The media was only allowed for the beginning portions of practice but the morning still went as usual. The team began with warm-ups and light position work indoors before moving to the outdoor field to spread things out.
