While Jefferson is down to a top three including Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee but this is truly a decision between Alabama and Tennessee.

The four-star receiver has visited Alabama five times and Tennessee seven times throughout his recruitment. After officially visiting both schools in June, Jefferson returned to Knoxville and Tuscaloosa for unofficial visits last weekend.

Tennessee football’s 2024 recruiting class currently contains 19 commits including from two receivers: four-star Braylon Staley and five-star Mike Matthews. The Vols are also top contenders to land five-star Missouri native Ryan Wingo.

The Vols’ 2024 recruiting class ranks eighth nationally according to the 247sports team rankings. Jefferson committing to Tennessee would propel the class to fifth nationally.
