Jets vs. Browns Preseason Opener Betting Odds and Preview
First, the bad news. The Hall of Fame game is an exhibition game that kicks off the preseason. That means the coaches on both sides aren’t planning on risking their best starters.
Browns coach Kevin Stefanski has confirmed he won’t be playing his star quarterback Deshaun Watson or backup QB Joshua Dobbs. Kellen Mond will start the HoF Game, with rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson taking over in the second half — and likely playing for the chance not to be cut.
On the Jets’ side, Coach Robert Saleh has said their new star Aaron Rodgers won’t play any preseason games except potentially their preseason finale against rivals the New York Giants. Instead, Zach Wilson will be back at QB for the Jets on Thursday.
