Former Tennessee football and current New York Giants rookie wide receiver Jalin Hyatt has been on a tear so far in training camp.

Ever since New York’s training camp started last Wednesday, Hyatt has been a walking highlight reel.

Over the weekend, Hyatt reportedly set an NFL record by running 24 mph. The previous NFL record for the fasted speed recorded was held by former Chiefs and current Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill, who ran 23.2 mph in 2016.

Giants quarterback Daniel Jones had told reporters to ask Hyatt if he had touched 24 mph on Sunday. When asked, Hyatt was not 100 percent on if he reached the mark on Sunday, but the former Vol did mention he had hit the mark a ‘few times’ already.

In addition to his speed, Hyatt has been turning heads by making various plays during camp. A collection of Hyatt highlights from the first handful of days at training camp are below.

The third round pick is one of the most popular storylines not only in Giants training camp so far, but across the entire NFL as well. If Hyatt continues to impress and finds his way in the top three at WR for the G-Men, the former Vol could be using his 24 mph speed to blow past DBs week in, week out this fall.
