While showing off some photos from a recent photo shoot, Tennessee revealed some new tweaks to the classic orange jersey worn at Vol Football home games in Neyland Stadium.

The jersey, as shown in the photo by wide receiver Bru McCoy, has two distinct changes right off the bat from the jersey last season.

The first change is the switch to a more perforated fabric on the bottom half of the jersey. The top half, as in the shoulders, still look to be one piece of solid fabric.

The second change is a new logo design/print on the bottom of the collar of the jersey. The 2023 collar logo has a bit more of an elaborate design as compared to the 2022 jersey.

As you can see, there aren’t too many differences between the 2022 version and the 2023 version aside from the slight tweaks to the collar and the fabric. And, ultimately, the new 2023 design looks great. The classic orange look still prevails with some more attention to the details surrounding it.

  1. The gray uniforms are great with the team we have in them NOW. Please don’t ever wear the orange helmets though. BAD MOJO!!!!!

  2. Bring on all the alternate uniforms. I know traditionalist don’t like change but recruits love it. Vols

  3. Love the updated orange jersey. And I like the gray look. But I always wanted to see what the CHROME helmets would look like on certain uniforms other than the white ones.
