Tennessee landed four-star wide receiver Braylon Staley from the class of 2024 on Friday afternoon. The Aiken, South Carolina native gives Josh Heupel his first true wide receiver in the class and the Vols their first recruit in the cycle from South Carolina.
The 6-foot-1 receiver brings a unique combination of speed and size to his game. Staley’s size allows him to get good body position on his opponents and has great bounce in order to get up and catch passes high in the air. Staley also has the speed, though, as a prolific track athlete for Aiken High School.
Combine all of Staley’s traits together and you get a promising young prospect that has now committed to Tennessee in order to continue evolving his game.
