Tennessee Football received a slight bump up the recruiting rankings after hauling in four-star wide receiver Braylon Staley on Friday afternoon.

Staley marks Tennessee’s 15th commitment to the Class of 2024 and their fourth commitment in the final two weeks of June.

Prior to Staley’s commitment, Tennessee had the 12th-ranked class according to 247 Sports, the 13th-ranked class according to On3, and the 14th-ranked class via Rivals.

After Staley’s commitment, though, the Vols’ class received a lift.

Tennessee’s class now ranks No. 10 according to 247 Sports, No. 10 according to On3, and No. 13 according to Rivals at the time of this publication.

Braylon Staley Caps Off a Massive June for Tennessee

Staley’s commitment to Tennessee on Friday afternoon caps off a massive recruiting month for the Big Orange. The month of June saw Tennessee add four talented players to their class of 2024 roster.

The Vols’ first commitment of the month was a big one as head coach Josh Heupel finally locked down four-star in-state athlete Boo Carter. The Chattanooga/East Tennessee prospect has long been considered one of the better players from the state as a two-way player in the high school scene. Despite a late push from Michigan, though, Carter committed to Tennessee on June 17 to give the Vols a big in-state commitment.

Following Carter was Atlanta native Jordan Burns. The fringe four-star linebacker committed to Tennessee the week after Carter and gave the Vols their first true linebacker commit to the class of 2024 roster. Just a few days after Burns’ commitment, Tennessee hauled in a commitment from four-star offensive lineman Max Anderson from Frisco, TX. The 6-foot-5 interior offensive lineman is big and strong and will give Tennessee a great tool to work with over the next few seasons.
