Chase Burns was once again the MVP for Tennessee in a crucial game, shoving for six innings out of the bullpen. Tennessee fell behind 4-0 but once again found a way to put together a big inning, scoring four runs in the fifth to chase Stanford ace Quinn Mathews.
Tennessee baseball achieved a major milestone by getting their first College World Series win in 22 years and in the Tony Vitello era, but Vitello and co. know the job isn’t finished.
The guys wrap up the podcast by looking ahead to the next game for Tennessee, as they await the loser of LSU vs. Wake Forest.
