Four-star offensive lineman Max Anderson is approaching his official visit to Tennessee as he arrives in Knoxville Thursday for his weekend visit.

Anderson, one of Tennessee’s top offensive line targets in the 2024 recruiting cycle, originally planned on visiting Tennessee in mid June before pushing up his official visit date a few weeks.
The interior offensive lineman ranks as a four-star and the No. 191 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. The Frisco, Texas native also ranks as the 37th best player in the Lone Star State.

Anderson hasn’t been overly active taking visits during his recruitment. The four-star is making his first trip to Knoxville since last summer. The 6-foot-5, 305 pound lineman has only two official visits scheduled to date: Tennessee and Oklahomaβ where his brother plays.
The Reedy High School standout has also taken a pair of visits to Arkansas and solo visits to Georgia and Michigan this year.
Tennessee football’s 2024 recruiting class currently contains 11 commits after JJ Harrell backed off his pledge earlier this week. The Vols have two offensive lineman prospects committedβ interior offensive lineman Gage Ginther and offensive tackle Jesse Perry.
