Josh Heupel joked around with reporters earlier this spring when asked about the offseason.
“I didn’t know that there was such thing as an offseason, anymore,” Heupel said with a big laugh.
The college football wheel continues to turn twelve months out of the year, and that is especially true at a program on the rise such as the University of Tennessee. Since Heupel took over at Tennessee prior to the 2021 season, the Vols have a record of 18-8 and have claimed an Orange Bowl trophy.
With the 2022 season and the 2023 spring slate now in the rearview mirror, though, the countdown to the 2023 season is on.
As of Thursday, May 25, there are exactly 100 days until the start of the Tennessee football season.
The Vols’ social media team dropped a new hype video on Thursday to celebrate the milestone day. The video goes through the end of the previous season and the spring schedule en route to the 2023 football season.
