Four-star receiver Braylon Staley announced that he will take an official visit to Tennessee on June 16-18 earlier this week.

Staley ranks as a four-star and the No. 226 player in the country according to the 247sports composite rankings. The 6-foot, 175 pound also ranks as the nation’s 34th best prep receiver and No. 5 player in the state of South Carolina.
The blue chip receiver’s summer official visit to Knoxville will mark his first trip to Tennessee and makes the Vols a serious player in her recruitment.

Staley also has June official visits scheduled to Clemson, Miami and North Carolina. The Aiken, South Carolina native has taken visits to Georgia, Auburn, Florida, Georgia Tech and Miami already in 2023 and also took trips to North Carolina and Clemson in 2022.
Tennessee’s recruiting class currently contains 11 commits but four-star Mississippi native JJ Harrell is the currently the Vols only receiver committed in the class.
Josh Heupel and his staff are also serious contenders to land five-star receivers Ryan Wingo and Mike Matthews as well as four-star receiver Amari Jefferson.
The Vols’ 11 commit recruiting class ranks 10th nationally according to the 247sports team rankings.
