UPDATE ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON @ 12:20 p.m. ET: Rather than playing the previously announced doubleheader on Friday, Tennessee and South Carolina will be moving the doubleheader to SATURDAY instead.
The Vols and Gamecocks originally announced a Friday doubleheader set for 3:00 and 7:00 p.m. ET, however, field conditions have forced the change of plans once again.
The new schedule is as follows:
Game 1: Friday at 7:00 p.m. ET
Game 2: Saturday at 2:00 p.m. ET (seven innings)
Game 3: Saturday following Game 2 (seven innings/regular-season finale)

Written on Friday morning: The Tennessee baseball team will play South Carolina in a three-game series in Columbia, South Carolina this weekend. Thursday night’s series-opening game, however, was postponed due to heavy rain in the area.
The Vols and the Gamecocks will now play a doubleheader on Friday before closing down the regular season on Saturday. Despite being a doubleheader, though, both games on Friday are set for nine innings.
Game 1: Friday at 3:00 p.m. ET
Game 2: Friday at 7:00 p.m. ET
Game 3: Saturday at 2:00 p.m. ET
The Weather Channel is projecting a sub-15 percent chance of rain throughout the rest of the day in Columbia.
